Signed up for AJPW TV. AJPW was on death's door a few years ago when Jun Akiyama bought it and started rebuilding. Dug themselves out of their hole and word is they put on a really good product now. AJPW TV is their streaming service. At the moment they only have events from 2017 but more will be added in the future.

Unfortunately, the 90's AJPW footage is owned by tv station N+, so it likely won't be on the site.

How was the show last night Fignuts? I wanted to watch it but I want english commentary, that would be huge for me. I don't have a great understanding of AJPW in the last 15 years.

AJPW under Mutoh took a sports entertainment approach. They developed a pretty great Junior Heavyweight division over the years, but beyond that there wasn't much to write home about.

I'm watching WM 31, I really like this show. Triple H is doing his Terminator entrance and it totally mace sense to me. He's like a terminator going into the past to terminate the last remaining WCW holdout. Pretty cool.

Feast or Fired is so fucking stupid.

It really, really is as a concept. However, the way they handled all of the winner's of this particular one was pretty good. EC3 even talked about how the concept was stupid on air.

I don't know if acknowledging it as stupid undercuts how stupid it is, but I get what you're saying.

It's like in movies where a character makes a joke about how bad a joke is, but it doesn't negate the fact that that joke was still made in the same movie.

It was definitely stupid, but at least the title shots went to decent people to have title shots and EC3 got to do a farewell promo or whatever.

Season 4 of NXT is waaaaaaaaaaay easier to watch than season 3 was. I kinda like all of the rookies. Bateman was hilarious.

Still trying to understand the point of the UK Title and the new N American Title in NXT

I have no problem with more titles but it'd make alot more sense to have women's tag titles if the shows weren't split.

I get the new American title in NXT , with the recent expansions on the roster it gives more guys something to work with , more meaningful feuds. For example would have been a great idea to try it out on Lars Sullivan , see how how well he works as a champ before he goes for the main title.

The UK title has been kept around whilst the WWE get their house in order over what is happening with their UK expansion but I'm with you if it's not gonna happen soon then get rid of it. Their main 5 guys are good enough to be on the NXT roster without the need of a title.
