Dear Jesus, awful. Only an hour long and I thought it was almost over and I was only 20 mins in.

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 05-25-2011 05:28 AM

Harsh.

No film with a singing Nazi skeleton should get a score that low.

Please do not talk about it anymore, Im having flashbacks and I never want to experience something that awful again.

Schlomey 05-25-2011 09:47 AM

I Am Number 4

Would have been better as an ABC Family tv show or mini series. Held my attention but the acting and some of the editing are totally laughable. The plot was paper thin as well.

4/10

The Quest - 3/10

Stupid Van Damme and his movies. Kung Fu Panda 2 is a movie Van Damme is going to be "in". His voice is there, but he is not. What was the last Van Damme movie in theaters?

Schlomey 05-25-2011 03:43 PM

street fighter?

Reminded me of a concept I thought up as a teenager but instead of an assassin the guy was head of the Triads.

XL 05-26-2011 09:24 AM

Thor - Pretty fuckin' EPIC/10 (9/10)

I wasn't all that excited for Thor in the big picture of the Marvel Universe but the film has spectacular visuals, good to great performances, some good action scenes and the right balance between drama and humour. Excellent work.

It's strange that Cabin Fever 2 has one of the most heart felt 'loser pours heart out to girl of his dreams' scene I ever seen. Though aside from that:

Cabin Fever 2 - 0/5

hangover 2 10/10. Powerful movie

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 05-30-2011 10:11 AM

Twilight - 0/10

If it wasn't for the RiffTrax commentary, there's no way I would've been able to get through this. What an absolute failure on every level.

Requiem 05-30-2011 01:58 PM

What I've gotten from this thread is that Jabba typically watches horrible movies. I could think of better things to do with my time than watching an entire movie that sucks only to determine that it sucked.

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 05-30-2011 03:19 PM

I would never be able to watch any of these things alone. With a group, they're hilarious.

Drive Angry 5/10

Some good action but overall kinda meh.

Stakeland - 7/10

Not a bad movie. Doesn't try to be this amazing vampire/zombie movie that some try to be.

7/10. I'm glad Hollywood remakes didn't include this one aside from the first One Missed Call movie.

Plot: Bullied girl gets revenge by befriending a dead ghost with a cursed cellphone as she forwards texts "death call" threats to those who shit on her.

Xerzes 06-01-2011 04:57 AM

Source Code - 6.5/10

Trailers and all looked completely forgettable. Actually was decent.

Howl - 8/10

really great movie about Allen Ginsberg and his book Howl

James Franco did a great job as Ginsburg

Midnight in Paris - 7/10
New Woody Allen movie. pretty good

13 Assassins - 7/10

aka Death Water. 8/10.

SPOILER: show
Story is about tap water from anywhere in the city that when people drink it, they'd go insane and go suicidal by stabbing their eyes out!!!! Fuuuck. It's like the Happening only better. THe only way to beat the tapped infected water, buy lots of mineral bottled water instead however, the tap water can also be contained in that mineral stuff too like springs and lakes!!! you can never tell.

This movie almost gave me nightmares and scared me of never drinking water again in my life. Fuuck...

8/10.

Cool movie slightly better than the Origins Wolverine Deadpool reject flick. Although it feels awkward watching it cos they're in the John F Kennedy Cold War era showing archive footage news of the dead president himself.

And the love chemistry between Mystique and Beast was soooo Avatar-ish hence the blue make up.. :P And Azazel is like Hellboy meets Nightcrawler. The ending is an obvious scream for a sequel origin of Magneto and his Brotherhood of bad X-Men.
