Diego Forlan hat trick takes him to 23 goals this season, fair play to the lad.

Just conifmed on Sky Sports News, Jim Smith has left and Harry is staying on.

I can't wait to see Redknapp getting slated in all the papers for being the lying, inconsistant cunt that he is...but ive got a feeling ill be waiting a very long time.

The Mackem 05-23-2005 08:48 AM

Looks like O'Neil might be leaving Celtic for personal reasons.

That's my point dickhead.

And you have a nerve to say that anyone chats shit. Read your last 20 or so posts for evidence.

toxic rooster 05-24-2005 10:19 AM

I wasn't saying I don't. There's a lot to football I really don't have a clue about, anyone that reads my posts in here would know that.

I was saying you do.

looks like he's officially leaving tomorrow. Be interesting to see if he ends up back in english football the season after next.

Also Everton are after Scott Parker for £6m - good for him as i can't remember the last time i saw him play, shame as he's quite good and should do well at Everton as long as him and Cahill will fit into the team.

Rob Ban Fan 05-24-2005 01:05 PM

to be fair, i thought he hadn't been playing because he broke his foot.

Apparently he's on £55,000 a week :| lucky they've got money to burn.

Dazz 05-24-2005 01:57 PM

Yeah he is injured right now, he was making a comeback and re-injured himself. I hope he stays personally.

Mr. Monday Morning 05-24-2005 01:59 PM

Parker, Davies, Carsley, Cahill and Arteta would be a fairly awesome midfield

Wengerland 05-24-2005 02:13 PM

Kilbane for Carsley ;) Can't see any of the others playing left midfield. Parker would be a good signing but £10m for him and Davies seems a bit much.

Rob 05-24-2005 02:24 PM

Just play McFadden.

El Capitano Gatisto 05-24-2005 02:53 PM

McFadden is shit.

Mr. Monday Morning 05-24-2005 04:09 PM

Kilbane is also shit. If you really want someone left side instead of Carsley in the middle I'd put Leon Osman out there.

The Mask 05-24-2005 06:04 PM

big news

jerichoholic169 05-24-2005 06:14 PM

i think davies could be a good deal for £4m. before he had injury problems i seem to remember him scoring quite a few goals and playing well for wales. and hes still relatively young so he could turn out quite good in a few years.

Mr. Monday Morning 05-25-2005 03:53 AM

Come on then peoples, predictions for tonight.

I'm thinking Milan might edge it 2-1

No, Kilbane really isn't shit. He hasn't been for a good number of years now.

jerichoholic169 05-25-2005 05:12 AM

1-0 to milan.

Ogen 05-25-2005 06:12 AM

2-0 Milan but I'd love to see Liverpool win it.

yianni 05-25-2005 06:38 AM

I dislike Liverpool and want AC Milan to win. However, any bets Liverpool will win the thing and confirm those conspiracy theories :nono:

The Mask 05-25-2005 07:07 AM

God, i don't care as long as liverpool lose.

The Mackem 05-25-2005 08:52 AM

Check this out

Some bloke put £20 on the following

Premiership: Chelsea 10/11
Champ'ship: Sunderland 15/2
League One: Luton 6/4
League Two: Yeovil 4/1
Scottish Prem: Rangers 3/1
Scottish One: Falkirk 1/2
Scottish Two: Brechin 15/8
Scottish Three: Gretna 2/7

Total odds of 4999-1 earning him winnings of £89,974.43.

I'd put a bet on next year but the Scottish lower divisions would be my stumbling point.

Dazz 05-25-2005 09:14 AM

I am lazy so I can't be fucked to find out how many of them came through.

Regardless, next season I am sticking £10 on the following...

Chelsea to win the league
Chelsea to win the Champions League
Southampton to go up
West Ham to go up (as I think PNE will win the final)
Portsmouth to go down
Rangers to win the SPL

Not sure whether to also include Wisey being in charge of Leeds by Christmas, or do that seperatley, probably do it seperate.

The Mackem 05-25-2005 09:32 AM

They all did, it was an accumulator.

Ogen 05-25-2005 10:44 AM

Statchens taken over at Celtic with O Neil confirming that hes leaving after the cup final to spend more time with his wife.

I've never seen one player so derided by his own fans as Kilbane was at Sunderland. He's less incompetent than he was but that doesn't mean he's any good.

Mr. Monday Morning 05-25-2005 12:34 PM

God fuck you Mantle, we are going up

Rob 05-25-2005 12:37 PM

No you're not.

That's because he was brilliant for Ireland but then a bit poor for Sunderland. He wasn't even that bad at Sunderland, but he's become a better player now. Obviously since he's 27 and coming into his peak.

Love him. Excellent player, has had a fantastic season.

Dazz 05-25-2005 01:12 PM

You might do Kirk, but your not at least a 95% certainty and you can easily mess up any accumilator. If you get Henri Camera backI'd back you, because that man is the goods :y:. Shame he will go to a better team though.

Karlsberg 05-25-2005 01:49 PM

I think wolves have a great chance of going up and thats coming from a birmingham city fan.

I think Milan will win 1-0 tonight.

Dazz 05-25-2005 02:00 PM

If Milan win, I hope Kaka scores it, not sure what bets to put on for goalscorers though, don't think Shev will score, kinda fancy Gerrad and Riise

Danny Electric 05-25-2005 02:00 PM

You from Brum then mate?
Good to see you don't support the scum.
