Yeah. How serious/crazy is Disney going with this is what I want to know.

slik 10-26-2020 07:38 PM

True

I cancelled my D+ a while ago bc I'm not really a Star Wars fan but I'm tempted to bring it back for Wandavision and I'm very interested in Moon Knight. I remember reading somewhere it might have Werewolf By Night in it too, which I am very curious about.

ClockShot 11-30-2020 08:58 PM

Apparently over the weekend the Daredevil TV rights went back to Marvel Studios from Netflix.

Kalyx triaD 11-30-2020 09:50 PM

Yeah people are rallying to get Charlie back in there.

Shadow 12-01-2020 12:22 AM

I can only pray they can still get him back.

Kalyx triaD 12-01-2020 04:10 AM

Oh he'd do it. It's on Kevin.

slik 12-01-2020 11:27 PM

Speaking of Daredevil...

SPOILER: show

In the comics starting in Daredevil #25 Electra will become the new Daredevil for a while

Fignuts 12-02-2020 12:04 AM

Marvel is moments from imploding just like DC did

slik 12-02-2020 12:21 AM

DC has their big non-reboot coming up after FUTURE STATE

They basically aren't going to worry about continuity anymore, 'everything happened', and if there's a continuity issue readers are supposed to assume it takes place on a different earth in the multiverse...which is honestly probably the best idea for DC instead of them obsessing over making everything match and then haphazardly ignoring it when new creative teams take over.

Well that's just lazy.

Kalyx triaD 12-02-2020 03:22 PM

Wait so Future State isn't some alt-future universe?

Eh, I don't care anymore.

slik 12-02-2020 03:27 PM

Future State is what is replacing all the titles for two months in January and February and will show a alternate/possible future for DC...DC has said some elements will stick though, for example Yara Flor as a new Amazon.

Bruce not having access to the Wayne billions they've already done in the current Bat-title and that will be the same post-Future State. I like that they've said he's moving out of Wayne Manor and into a brownstone in the middle of Gotham City itself. That should mix things up, along with not having as much access to Iron Man levels of tech.

Kalyx triaD 12-02-2020 07:47 PM

I think I'm the only person in the universe who see no problem with a classical status quo and painting within those lines. That makes shake ups impactful (Civil War, Court of Owls, etc). Stunts like this just doesn't amount to everything after coming off 2 events that 'shook things up'. My opinion on Future State went up when it appeared to be some extended elseworlds thing but now some things will stick - before it's even out.

Other elements from alt timelines and such do stick time to time, but after the fact when they prove popular or add to the Status Quo. But DC just guessing that something will work is exactly the type of presumptive marketing that's been murdering comics the last near decade.

Good art tho.

Lock Jaw 12-09-2020 03:23 PM

I guess Tobey isn't actually confirmed 100% yet...

Shadow 12-10-2020 12:46 AM

He's been spotted headed to costuming.

That'd be some epic team-up if we're still talking Tom Holland's version. Maybe he's Parker's lawyer like in the animated series?

Kalyx triaD 12-10-2020 09:51 PM

OMFG guys

Jesus Christ

Damian Rey 2.0 12-10-2020 10:49 PM

Charlie coming back as Daredevil/Murdock is so great. If they can get Berenthal back....

M-A-G 12-11-2020 04:53 AM

Sorry, but that Loki series looks like the least interesting of the bunch. I'm sure I'll eat my words later.

M-A-G 12-13-2020 12:59 PM

Fucking boss that Jaimie Alexander is returning as Sif. I missed her and she would've looked awesome amongst the rest of the women in that one scene in Endgame.

RP 12-14-2020 06:13 PM

This type of shit is why I dont care about comics anymore.

Let me guess: more "I can't connect with this character unless they like the same genitals I like" whining?

Destor 12-14-2020 08:50 PM

the political motivation behind the decision are whats irksome. proud christian plays the character. make the character bi to mock him. not surprised in the least though. everything is permissible except traditional.

that said i couldn't care less who a fictional character fucks.

Shadow 12-15-2020 12:15 AM

The thing is....he played Star Lord like he was bisexual. I'm sorry if you disagree with the decision but maybe blame Chris Pratt.

Lock Jaw 12-15-2020 12:17 AM

How did he play Star Lord as bisexual?

Kalyx triaD 12-15-2020 01:49 AM

And how does one play a bisexual?

I mean, if he's bi, he's bi but I never got that vibe from the MCU version. He seemed like James Bond but just in space and dealing with alien women. His ship's name is the Milano; I can only assume that was named for Alyssa Milano. Was she a thing in 1988?

Lock Jaw 12-15-2020 11:38 PM
