Kingsman: The Secret Service 9/10

One of the most purely fun movies I've seen in a while. Picked it up as a rental and spent the whole time either laughing or silently cheering. Vaughn is a damn genius.

Mission: Impossible:Rogue Nation: 4/5...I thought it was fun for what it was

Jupiter Ascending - 4/10. It was like Guardians of the Galaxy without the fun, the Matrix sequels with extra exposition, a healthy dose of Masters of the Universe, and a couple of cool Fifth Element-esque creature designs.

Hot Girls Wanted (2015) - 5/10
Not that good. Seemed really rushed, like it was someone's freshman "short film" or something that they quickly put together. Idk... Some interesting parts I guess.

Bottle Rocket (1996) - 8/10
Good... Funny.

Mad Max: Fury Road - I dunno, it was ok, don't see what all the fuss was about though.

Let's Be Cops - 6/10. I can see why people would hate it. But I laughed a couple times, which is about all I ask for out of a comedy. It'd get a better score if the plot was better, but I was entertained enough to keep it above the halfway mark.

Big jumbled mess. One action set after another while uninterestingly retreading and erasing the existence of the previous films. John Connor idea was kinda neat but he's just another lame duck bad guy. Hope this is it as they're getting progressively worse. Emilia Clarke clutching her breasts nude was the best part of the film.

Age of Ultron-7/10
Entertaining if not a bit forgettable. Lots going on made it seemed a bit over stuffed. Too many characters. Ultron was kind of rushed into and was the typical meh marvel bad guy. He was cool but everything seemed so fast paced. Worked with the first one sinc Loki already had a film to develop him. Not so much here. Also, second wave of the team feels like a step down. Overall it was fun. The language gag with Cap and the hulk buster scene were most enjoyable by me.

The Visit - 7/10

Wow! M. Night Shyamalan actually pulled off a decent movie. Maybe it was the audience in the cinema hall.

Sinister 2: Not much panache as the 1st but a decent thriller until it turned into Children of The Corn-ish plot ending. 6/10.

Asterix: Mansions of the Gods - 7/10. This comic series is totally underrated.. A bit funny at times. :p

Anomalisa - Cool stop animation movie from Charlie Kaufman about a guy who is depressed and everyone looks and sounds the same to him. It kind of feels like one long scene more than a movie but I thought it worked really well and it was very funny and weird and even touching at times...so a Charlie Kaufman movie. I think I liked it more than Synecdoche New York.

The second NL movie. And it bombed. Pretty funny. And a neat kind of spoof of the then red hot slasher subgenre

Time Lapse-7/10
Movie about three friends who find a giant Polaroid camera that takes pictures of the next day. The characters didn't seem legit friends but it's a pretty clever time travel movie. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
