Feel like it's looking bleak for the Jays. Unfortunately.

In more interesting news, this series has been ridiculously close. Credit to Cleveland. They're stifling an offense with a depleted pitching staff. Francona doing a marvelous bullpen job this postseason.

I care. I'm basically going to have nailed my 3 predictions right on the nose with the 4th (Dodgers in 7) looking good too

Emperor Smeat 10-18-2016 12:42 AM

If Cleveland manages to win the World Series this year, Cubs should legit consider making a special trade deal to get Francona as their manager. Would have broken 2 big curses/droughts and would go down as one of the greatest ever if he broke a 3rd one.

Maybe 4 if you consider the White Sox breaking their long drought as "by association" since they had to go through Francona's Red Sox in the playoffs that year.

Evil Vito 10-18-2016 01:04 AM

The Indians would be absolute fucking retards to get rid of Francona.

Emperor Smeat 10-18-2016 02:28 AM

Maybe if the Cubs sweetened the deal although they could also just wait another 2 years since that is when Francona's current deal expires before the option years become a possible factor.

Then again whole thing assumes Francona wins the World Series and has some mythical curse breaking aura around him.

Cleveland should keep him but send him to the Browns.

ClockShot 10-18-2016 09:10 AM

Indians either gonna send Kluber out for the Mortal Kombat "Finish Them" this afternoon. Or Clevinger to give Toronto some kind of hope.

Evil Vito 10-18-2016 10:07 AM

If the Indians win tonight, they're going to be idle for a full week while the NLCS won't end until Thursday at the earliest, possibly not until the weekend.

Feel like its happened a lot in the past decade but excessive rest seems to hurt teams going into the World Series. Not much you can do about it.

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-18-2016 10:26 AM

Indians locked in. Jays are kind of lolworthy, Cleveland is the much tougher team of the two. Love'm but lost even more HESPECT for Bautista for his "circumstances" comment. So disrespectful.

Jays need a new manager who makes in game adjustments. They aren't going to get one because Gibby just had a 2nd run in the ALCS but this is as far as his managing style can get a team.

Francona is a fucking beaut.

And yeah elongated rest could hurt the Indians.

Says the obvious bandwagoner. I think you've never been to Cleveland.

I always thought the Indians were good. I didn't have any idea why anyone was favouring the Jays. Jerkbag.

Ruien 10-18-2016 01:10 PM

Jays crushed Droford's dreams by beating the O's so they are winners in my book.

shut up

RP 10-18-2016 05:22 PM

I bet the Jays drop a 10 spot on Klueber

Ruien 10-18-2016 08:06 PM

Really hope so. More baseball is a good thing.

Lock Jaw 10-18-2016 08:11 PM

Jays win, baby!!

Glad I will get at last one more game!

ClockShot 10-18-2016 09:48 PM

Hiroki Kuroda is gonna hang 'em up after his season ends in Japan.

Clerk 10-18-2016 10:33 PM

Dumb Canada rigging the game

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-18-2016 11:52 PM

Wonder what Bautista thought of the circumstances of this game.

Damian Rey 2.0 10-18-2016 11:58 PM

What did I miss about Bautista?

Emperor Smeat 10-18-2016 11:59 PM

Implied MLB and/or umps are rigging the series in Cleveland's favor since they don't want a Canadian team in the World Series.

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-19-2016 12:01 AM

He is full of shit

Damian Rey 2.0 10-19-2016 12:05 AM

To say the least.

Clerk 10-19-2016 12:05 AM

Wtf is that idiot talking about? Officiating was terrible. Rigged for the blue jays

Lock Jaw 10-19-2016 12:07 AM

Must have missed when/where he said that..... haven't heard about that......

tbh. I'm not worried. I dunno. Just telling you guys. I'm not sweating this at all.

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-19-2016 04:52 AM

2 more games in LA and two shutouts. I think I'd be sweating.

That may work in the regular season, but not in the playoffs. If you have a starter who is confident in his stuff, and he pounds the strike zone, the Cubs are in trouble.

Ruien 10-19-2016 09:15 AM

It's awesome to see a ton of Cub fans at the LA stadium. Chicago fans travel so well in every sport.

Evil Vito 10-19-2016 09:23 AM

I think the Cubs will be fine. Every team has a couple of clunkers in a row. Plus Hill's been great at Dodger stadium.

The Dodgers are running out a 20 year old in Game 4. Tough to see him not having jitters and struggling.

Ol Dirty Dastard 10-19-2016 10:13 AM

It'll be interesting if Jays can get it to game 6. It'll be tough, they're pretty much playing against themselves until it's Miller time.

Game 6 means Cleveland could potentially start getting jittery, and they don't have the benefit of good pitching matchups until they go into the bullpen. However, I don't see a Francona managed team coughing up a 3-0 lead.

Clerk 10-19-2016 06:00 PM

Who dat!? Who dat!? Said they don't beat them Indians? No one sucka

Lock Jaw 10-19-2016 06:51 PM

Miller Time and Jays still down 3-0...... not looking promising at all.......

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-19-2016 07:23 PM

Yikes. Miller is MVP?

Lock Jaw 10-19-2016 07:47 PM

Jays lose..... got excited there for a minute after Bautista hit lead off double..... but Jays offense once again does not deliver tonight......

R.I.P. Jays

Lock Jaw 10-19-2016 07:49 PM

I guess I will now throw my support behind the Chicago Cubs........
