When Kewell and Viduka are fit and firing (hopefully come November) our squad, complimented by the 4-3-3, should look like this:

The two of those guys combined is why he is back quicker then expected.

On the whole injury thing, it does seem that the big clubs can get players back quicker. While they aren't back yet, Xabi and Cisse are both back in training. Alonso broke his ankle in January, and he could be back by the Juve game, so 3 months aint bad. Cisse had a double compound fracture and he's back training 5 months later, so I guess that the bigger clubs have better medical staff and better links with medical people around the world.
