OK this is not really the first time I've seen it, but I only watched like the second half of it before in like 2004 and thought it was "alright" or never gave it a chance or something. I can't believe I missed out on this movie. I can see why a lot of people would hate it but wow it was amazing. Like it's crazy to me that a movie like this even exists commercially.

I love I Heart Huckabees, its so weird and you gain so much from more viewings

Mark Wahlberg is so insanely hilarious in it.

Tropic Thunder - 7/10

Triple A 12-18-2008 03:25 AM

Slumdog Millionaire - 7/10 - Pretty good but way overrated imo. I kinda "didn't like it" because I was expecting so much more but I don't really know what I was expecting and overall it was pretty good the more I think about it.

Lonesome Jim - 8/10 - Mad good. Directed by Steve Buscemi, starring Casey Affleck. Real relatable.

The Red Balloon - 6/10 - 1950s French movie about a boy and his balloon. Not bad for what it was.

Wall-E 9/10.

Brilliant. That captain and his pizza seeds are hilarious.

Wall-E reminds me of my old pet ferret that died :(

The Franchise 12-19-2008 08:59 PM

Bolt in 3D!!! 8/10

The Dark Knight, again. 10/10

I gotta say, while not being as good as Ledger's Joker, Aaron Eckhart did a fucking incredible job as Harvey Dent. Mad props to an underrated actor.

Triple A 12-20-2008 04:40 AM

In Bruges - 7/10 - Pretty good. Started off kinda slow then got real good.

4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days - 9/10 - Freaking amazing. So good.

Harvey Krumpet - 8/10 - Never watched this before for some reason. Tremendous.

El Fangel 12-21-2008 04:32 AM

Day of The Dead - 1/10

Jeritron 12-21-2008 04:46 AM

Day Earh Stood Still (remake) - 8/10.

Gonzo 12-21-2008 01:21 PM

In Bruges - 8/10

Shallow Ground - 6/10 (B level horror film, not bad, but I have a hard time with horror flicks)

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - 8/10 (1939, holds up well)

Tropic Thunder - 7/10 (Probably would have been funnier if I watched it with others)

thedamndest 12-21-2008 07:59 PM

Fiend without a Face - 8/10

If I had been growing up in 1958 I totally would have gotten to second base at the drive-in watching this movie.

Seven Pounds 10/10

I cried like a little bitch. So what, wanna fight about it? Probably Smith's best role.

D Mac 12-22-2008 05:09 PM

Star Wars: The Clone Wars 8/10

Nark Order 12-22-2008 08:01 PM

Scrooged 7/10

AWESOME movie but ends a bit abruptly.

Champion of Europa 12-22-2008 08:25 PM

In Bruges is bad ass, so good.

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is better as far as witty movies go. Probably my favorite movie of all time right now.

But I'm watching Seven Pounds tonight, so I'll post my score for that later.

Downunder 12-22-2008 08:42 PM

Traitor - 5/10, it was good, but not great.

cant wait to see that Req. Alot of people are saying its good.
considering these people said they would never think of Will the same way after I am Legend. It must be good

What didnt you like about it Nunder?

Downunder 12-22-2008 08:56 PM

Dunno, I just expected more, it was very perdictable, good performances but it lacked something.

Seven Pounds - 8.5/10

It really, insanely depressed me. I got so close to tears during this movie at multiple points. Even about 10 minutes in I was emotionally overwhelmed. I only docked the 1.5 because it kinda dragged in the middle.

I feel like I am going to cry.

XL 12-23-2008 05:10 AM

I have seriously heard nothing about Seven Pounds until today - when I heard it was Smith's worst opening in 7 years.

What's it about?

Requiem 12-23-2008 05:15 AM

Once you see the whole movie, the opening was great. I don't mind slow movies, so the middle wasn't an issue for me. I felt it was needed for character development, and there wasn't really any unneeded dialogue or things that happened. It's slow, but it all falls together. It's depressing, but it's also a feel good movie. Like I'm not sure whether my tears were from sadness, or from just being really overwhelmed with happiness.

PorkSoda 12-23-2008 04:11 PM

So Seven Pounds is kind of like Pursuit of Happyness? POH didn't really drag, but to me, it was kind of slow, and had some emotion in the ending.

I might go and see this :D

The Franchise 12-23-2008 06:43 PM

Yeah, kinda want to see Seven Pounds.

Meet Bill - 6/10
It was OK, some funny parts. Nothing special.

Shoot Em Up - 2/10
Such a terrible movie.

Requiem 12-23-2008 09:56 PM

lol Shoot Em Up.. rented it when my computer was shot for a couple weeks.. Watched over half of it and fell asleep.. had no urge to rewatch it and finish it so I just returned it.

Boondock Saint 12-24-2008 03:20 AM

Shoot'em Up was awesome.

The Genius 12-24-2008 05:15 AM

28 days later 7/10

Tb1 12-24-2008 06:14 AM

Yes Man 8/10
Carrey really saves this from being completely average. Not great, but worth taking a look.

Quarantine 5/10
Got a headache half-way through. Way shaky. Good idea, bad execution.

Tb1 12-24-2008 06:15 PM

WALL-E 10/10

Did you get to the spanking scene? It was the only good part in the movie. This woman, probably in her early 30's was spanking her kid in public, so the main dude is like "how do you like to be spanked?" and just starts spanking her.:naughty:

Destor 12-24-2008 07:40 PM

Woodcock- 7/10

I lke the way it was shot.

Walk The Line - 8/10

Requiem 12-25-2008 05:23 AM

Step Brothers 8/10

Pretty funny, but nothing phenomenal.

PorkSoda 12-25-2008 07:43 PM

War 8/10.

Really fng brilliant. I read/saw an interview with Jet Li saying the director was focusing on realism during the fight scenes. Fight scenes were badass, but what if they werent focusing on realism? Would have been major kickass.
