From Northern Ireland mate, so that would explain why Carroll got a mention. There is a story here that keano picked up on him in his first season and he squared up to him only for Keane to back down.

Serious tho, he is a big fella and Keane is hard as nails despite people seeming to think otherwise. They would seriously kill any of those three, and as for the rest of the team, Gudjohnsen, Carvalho, little Makele, they are not gonna do much of anything in a brawl

All you'd have to do is throw a ball at Carroll and he'd be all over the place.

Dazz 01-13-2005 11:14 PM

Adam Kirk, you truely are the man, you are unbiased and support a shit team, thefore you are twice as good as shit united fans.

I love Adam Kirk, who else is called Adam Kirk, coz you deserve a good rep.

Wow, Nigel Quashie is going to Southampton.

When it was rumoured that Harry wanted to "raid us for players" I sat down and came up with a very small list of players who I thought would never go to Southampton. And Quashie was one of the few players on that list.

Thats just about killed what little faith i had left in football then...

I'll challenge you to a duel or some Highland Games.

I'd tell you to shut up but you are my alter ego so it's like talking to myself here.

Rob 01-14-2005 03:22 PM

Gravesen just completed his move to Real Madrid.

Damn! I wanted him at Man U. I think we'll probably end up with Solari at the summer but we need replacements for Djemba-Djemba and Kleberson fast.

Dazz 01-14-2005 03:40 PM

Keano is past it, you need a tough tackling midfielder.

We can lend you one.

PSIcological 01-14-2005 05:50 PM

as an everton sympathizer it is a little sad to see him go. I just hope they can get a suitable replacement e.g parker

Makelele is solid, you can tell just from his handshake he is solid, he nearly crushed my hand :(. I never said those players would do anything, just we do have some muscle in the team, Gallas and Cech could do some big time damage.

Go for it, he has been useless for us.

Fergie on Rooney:

"He's actually a quiet boy with great enthusiasm in training. He loves training. I used to just have one problem on the training ground, which was Scholes. Now there are two of them. They get on early and you can't get them off after. They batter balls all over the place and one of them will hit me one day and kill me. That Scholes sends them inches by my head. Then all they hear is me bellowing 'Scholes!' 'What?' he says, looking up like an angel. And they hit the ball hard. Gary Neville was having a piss one day, 45 yards away by the fence. Scholes whacked him right in the arse."

:D

When about did he look solid? When he was rolling about on the deck after being tapped on the head.

Dazz 01-15-2005 08:40 AM

That was a one off, the guy is fucking hard, we all do stupid things from time to time.

Cactus Sid 01-15-2005 09:12 AM

What the fu</>ck was Dudek doing :(

Cactus Sid 01-15-2005 09:17 AM

What a bunch of dickheads the United fans are

"We hate scousers!" Erm..... right ok. Thats not what you were saying when Fatty scored.

The Mask 01-15-2005 09:28 AM

Well, we do. So does rooney by the looks of things

LK 01-15-2005 09:31 AM

Cheers Jerzy. Great player that Jerzy.

Danny Electric 01-15-2005 09:35 AM

Rooney had a decent shot from about 25 yards, but it was easy for Dudek. He watched it all the way and then decided not to put his arms out to save it, and it went under him.

Cactus Sid 01-15-2005 10:25 AM

Scholes, Heinze and Keane were fu</>cking awesome today, United deserved to win, even though I think we dominated.

The Mask 01-15-2005 10:29 AM

4 bookings for us :$

I love heinze.

Wengerland 01-15-2005 10:29 AM

Liverpool were poor, sorry but to have about 2 efforts on target and against 10 men for a quater of the game isn't good enough for a side like that.

Sky had better get Martin Tyler back in too.

Rob 01-15-2005 10:44 AM

Darke is miles better than Tyler.

And it's hard enough playing with one man down but 10 men against 12? Ref was a joke but what's new?

toxic rooster 01-15-2005 10:45 AM

What is it the new thing for fans to throw phones now? :wtf:

Liverpool were a joke too, quit your complaining.

Also, @ Heinze trying to pull the card out of Bennett's pocket

I don't know how you can say the ref was a joke. In my opinion that was one of the best refereeing performances I've seen in a long time. My only complaint with him was that he didn't let the game flow at times. Aside from that, I can't remember him making many mistakes, considering Baros and Ronaldo were trying to con him for most of the game.

Mr. Monday Morning 01-15-2005 12:55 PM

4-2 come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn have it West Ham, esp. Alan Pardew you arrogant cunt. Ince scored  bet he loved that one :o

Fuck's sake this is what's such a bastard, we're capable of playing like that every week but we don't and it's a fucking mystery why. Oh well, 2 on the bounce now

Ogen 01-15-2005 01:12 PM

Mon the Villa 3-0 win things may start looking up again now

Wengerland 01-15-2005 01:25 PM

1-1 draw at Preston, i'll take that given their home record.

He was throwing out yellow cards for nothing. Brown's second wasn't even a yellow since the play had stopped but he is too stupid to even know. The guy never gave us a decision and you can tell he was doing everything he could to help you lot. Check that last minute free kick for example. My old man is a mad Chelsea fan and absolutely hates Man U with a vengeance and even he was screaming at the TV at the decisions the ref was making.

Danny Electric 01-15-2005 02:53 PM

I'm happy now that i didn't go to the pub to watch the game. I don't think he should have changed things around at the back, he should have kept Carragher and Hyppia at the back.

toxic rooster 01-15-2005 03:08 PM

Shit second half, didn't respond to going behind at all well. Don't deserve to win the title.

Rob Ban Fan 01-15-2005 05:16 PM

I don't know how bad the ref was in the Liverpool match but I GUARENTEE you he was 1,000,000 times better than Andy D'Urso was today. What a joke.

Blackburn have to be the most cynical, cheap team ive seen in ages. Last season their players (Dino Baggio is the only name I remember off the top of my head) spent the entire game rolling around faking injuries to time waste and today they did the exact same thing. Constant cheap fouls and baiting our players (LuaLua was apparently stupid enough to react).

We had 3 on 1 with Kamara running on with support from O'Neil and Yakubu and some defender they just signed deliberatly chopped him down from behind. Now there was another defender between him and goal but it was as cynical and cheap and dirty as you can get.

LuaLua was having a field day constantly skinning Johansson but everytime he got past him he got wrestled to the ground, again cynically. After about the 6th time D'Urso took action.

We were poor and we deserved nothing from the game but its an absolute travisty that cheap tactics like that "earned" them points.

On the bright side some guy in a wheelchair chucked something at Paul Dickov and got chucked out...lol

This is why your opinions count for so little, Robert. Brown's second was a disgraceful lunge, where is completley missed the ball and could have broken the guys ankle, if his feet were a few inches higher it should have been a straight red, how anyone can say it wasn't worth a booking is beyond me.

Your dad may have been shouting at the T.V over bad decisions, but it only shows that that's where you get being a clueless cretin from.

(But I still love you)

PSIcological 01-15-2005 05:32 PM

How you can even comprehend that it wasnt a bookable offence is beyond me. And that excuse about play having been stopped just before, does that really change anything? People get booked without even being on the pitch (e.g Van Nistlerooy last season) so that is no answer. It was really a completely inexcusable tackle with only a broken ankle on Brown's mind.

On the plus side a good win for the gills today, 1-0 at home to Plymouth :y:
