El Capitano Gatisto 02-26-2005 11:53 AM

Vieira has suffered too many injuries over the past couple of seasons. I think I posted in this very thread that Arsenal should have bitten Real's hand off when they offered £24 million for Paddy V, at his age and considering he has several recurring injuries.

It's the Roy Keane thing all over again. Vieira might have to adapt his game and become more of a holding player than the box-to-box man he has been.

Dazz 02-26-2005 12:55 PM

I didn't see the SOuthampton game but I am guessing Camara didn't score. :(.

El Capitano Gatisto 02-26-2005 12:59 PM

With Camara up against Cygan, it was like watching a match from the European Down Syndrome League.

If such a league exists.

Cactus Sid 02-26-2005 12:59 PM

Well, thanks to Villa, we are well and truly fucked when it comes to getting a Champions League place.

Guess we've gotta win it :shifty:

Dazz 02-26-2005 01:02 PM

Nah, the way things are going Arsenal need to watch behind them, there's more chance of you or Everton catching them up then there is of them overtaking United.

Cactus Sid 02-26-2005 01:52 PM

I feel really sorry for Pompey here

They are putting in a half decent performance, ok, its not dynamic, but occasionally they look threatening, and aside from the goal they've defended well, but Lomana Lua Lua is putting in possibly the worst performance I have ever seen.

Cactus Sid 02-26-2005 02:21 PM

WHAT A FINISH SON

1 - 1

Danny Electric 02-26-2005 02:22 PM

Who scored for Pompy.

Cactus Sid 02-26-2005 02:37 PM

Gary O'Neil

Look at the Saints defender on the far side. Nearly played Cole onside.

Cactus Sid 02-26-2005 05:56 PM

I disagree, when they slowed it up, he was at least 2 yards offside

Wouldn't bet against Villareal or Sevilla personally, Parma have had quite a poor season really so not sure about them.

drew 0-0 at Reading today, not too bad.

Yeah I went to the pub to watch the game, the bloke in front of me was a pompey fan and he was seriously getting pissed off at Lua Lua.

"Rijkaard was in the referee's changing room with him for five minutes. I know because my assistants were at the door while the meeting was going on," Mourinho said in an interview with leading sports daily Marca on Saturday.

Rijkaard and Swedish referee Frisk have acknowledged they spoke to each other during the interval of Wednesday's game, which Barcelona won 2-1, but have denied meeting in the referee's room.

Personally I still think he is doing the same tactic he did after the first leg of the league cup semi final Vs ManYoo, but I dunno, apparently he was really pissed off.

When comparing the spanish and english leagues, Deco said the spanish league was way superior as even the smaller teams had "stars like Forlan"

rofllll :'(

El Capitano Gatisto 02-26-2005 10:05 PM

The Spanish league is better, in all honesty.

El Capitano Gatisto 02-26-2005 10:06 PM

Because even the smaller teams have players like NIHAAAAAAATTT

Dazz 02-26-2005 10:06 PM

The Spanish League might be better, but we are going to show Barcelona that the best team in England is better then the best team in Spain, in all honesty.

El Capitano Gatisto 02-26-2005 10:07 PM

I'm going to show I have a bigger dick than you.

Dazz 02-26-2005 10:09 PM

What are you waiting for, feel free to do so via PM or Email, or in person. I knew you weren't really coming round, unless you have wireless internet on your laptop and can multi-task quite well.

The Mask 02-26-2005 10:11 PM

i'm not arguing that point you twat, i'm laughing at "stars like forlan"

JESUS.

El Capitano Gatisto 02-26-2005 10:14 PM

Villareal have RIQUELME

Deco was probably joking. He looks like the cartoon kid out of the City of Gold cartoon, with the big gigantic flying falcon.

Dazz 02-26-2005 10:24 PM

Go suck your mum.

I copy and pasted the link, and then did a google search, the only image where Deco strikes that kind of pose, it is quite dark, http://terceiroanel.no.sapo.pt/porto/deco.jpg , none the less, some of the other pictures he sorta looks it because his hair and jawline are similar.

Dazz 02-26-2005 10:26 PM

In this one he looks quite similar too http://em2004.sportal.de/profile/fus...mages/deco.jpg

It's a moot point now, but aenima agrees with me. First replay I saw I thought he'd been played onside.

Ah well, it's in the past now ay.

Y2Ant 02-27-2005 12:19 AM

Hmm, if Liverpool win the carling cup, but also qualify for the champions league, and chelsea are already in the champs league, does that mean watford get a UEFA cup spot?

Dazz 02-27-2005 12:23 AM

No, you stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid cretin. Otherwise if, say, Chelsea played against Southampton in the semi's, there'd have to be a play off between Southampton and Watford.

The place goes to the next best placed team in the league, which will happen whatever the case as both Chelsea and Liverpool are going to qualify via the league anyway.

Mr. Monday Morning 02-27-2005 08:57 PM

Hmm, looks like Kezman scored the winner  (wrong game but whatever)

Dazz 02-27-2005 10:20 PM

Even Gudjohnsen played well today, strange things do happen.

Mr. Monday Morning 02-27-2005 10:33 PM

Gonna need a new avatar

Dazz 02-27-2005 10:35 PM

That is true, I do feel only one man can fill said vacancy...

Mr. Monday Morning 02-27-2005 10:36 PM

Pierluigi Casiraghi :shifty:

Dazz 02-27-2005 10:39 PM

, he is another perosn to do little for us but score against Liverpool. It was his only goal in a short career for us.

As it happens, my home PC is shite for pictures, we don't even have MS Paint on here, I shall wait till tomorrow before changing it to what I want it to be.

Dazz 02-28-2005 12:10 AM

You know when your player takes a corner in front of you and everyone gets on their feet and applauds him? Well, when Gerrard went to take a corner in front of us in extra time, ALL the Chelsea fans got up and gave him a round of applause

Franky Lampard, Stevie Gerrard,
Franky Lampard, Stevie Gerrard,
Franky Lampard, Stevie Gerrard,

First Goal for Chelsea,
He's Scored his first goal for Chelsea
First goal for cheeellseeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
He's scored his first goal for Chelsea

One Stevie Gerrard, there's only one Stevie Gerrard

We were the better team, just we didn't make much of the chances we created most of the game.

Just like Scousers,
We love Robben
