I love when the "Well, the better team didn't win tonight" argument comes up when somebody's team loses. Most of the time, it is followed by a few other excuses. I also love how you guys are talking about the Suns not playing defense and then allows a top 10 offense a mere 77 points. I ALSO find it funny that Laker fans are saying Phoenix doesn't play defense, yet Phoenix only allows a mere 2 points or so more than the Lakers. Yeah, what's that say about your team?

The ironic fact of the game is that Phoenix didn't even play that well offensively. They turned the ball over 20+ times and they are normally a great team with the ball. And, they STILL won. The difference in the game was that Boston got DOMINATED on the boards. Shaq and.....GRANT HILL almost had more boards than the WHOLE Boston team. Grant Hill!!!

PS - Suns missed Barbosa after he got that shot from P squared. A lot of chippiness was shown from the Celts. I guess the stellar defense frustrated them.

I also saw a few people talk about the Suns "not making it to the finals because they don't play defense". I believe everyone knows why they didn't make it to the finals last year, and it had NOTHING to do with defense.
