First set of details regarding the upcoming Ninja Gaiden 3 was revealed in the recent Playstation Magazine.

Tecmo's plan for the game include allowing more accessibility for newcomers while keeping the game itself hard enough for Ninja Gaiden fans, expanded multiplayer for up to 8 players, and a lot more blood and gore than in previous games.

The PS3 version will have Move support but no news on if Kinect will be a part of the Xbox 360 version.

Quote:
Runs at 60 FPS.
The drenching blood has returned after being toned down in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.
Difficulty level won't be lowered for the casual market.
Competitive multiplayer and co-op will feature. One or possibly both modes will feature eight players.
There's no more store. Instead, weapons upgrade over time, presumably through use.
Only Ryu currently planned as a playable character. Story to greatly focus on him.
PlayStation Move support is a possibility, but not yet official.
Tecmo also promised more details, screens, and videos of the game to be shown at E3.

The game is still set for a TBA date and as of now only Xbox 360 and PS3 versions were hinted at having the game.
