Today's News:
1) Square Enix states if the HD remakes of Final Fantasy X and X-2 sell really well, expect a lot more Final Fantasy HD remakes to be made in the future.

2) IO Interactive announces they have laid off roughly half of their staff while cancelling all current projects in development in order to focus all development towards a new Hitman game.

3) Retro Studios confirms the Metroid series has been put on hiatus for the near future since the studio wanted to focus more on the Donkey Kong Country series. They did state if they return to Metroid, the goal would be to expand the Samus/Metroid universe.
