Unity isn't that bad. I'm enjoying it. And honestly I've seen much much buggier games get review scores that didn't drop til after release. Fallout 3/NV? Skyrim on PS3? Those games got much better ratings than Unity did, as well, and I find that to be more disturbing. Giving games that are so buggy as to be rendered unplayable at times good reviews at a late date..........that reeks of paid reviews imo.
The Unity situation may have been a bit murky in terms of the timing of reviews, but at least the reviews were fair.
