1) A new studio called The Outsiders was revealed to have been formed by several former DICE employees who were tired of the crunch time practices at the company.

4) Epic Games announces they will be giving away around $5 million worth in grants as incentives to get more studios on board developing games using the Unreal Engine 4. The minimum amount available is $5,000 while the max is $50,000 per approved project.
