I imagine that with his suspension ending just before Battleground that he will be written out of the match on the next RAW. At Battleground he will come out, fresh off his suspension, and watch the match from the announce table. And then he will interfere and cause a DQ. And then we get the triple threat at SS.

Doubt it since an outside company is in charge of the actual testing. If anything, they would stand to lose a lot of reputation if it gets revealed the WWE fakes results for storyline stuff or their own purpose.
If anything, Reigns is very lucky he got popped now and not after Battleground since he'd miss out on Summerslam for the suspension. Only a couple of ppvs each year has more than 30 days in between them.
