There is stuff that goes beyond a guess though. He knew about the plan to fuck over Goldberg in, like, June of that year. That's going back a while, but that's one that always jumps out at me. Taker vs. AJ would have been a weird guess to make only for it to come true.

He clearly gets SOMETHING out of people.
