Ronin - 3.5/4

High volumes of fast paced heist action with gunplay galore interlocked by some slick, droll repartee between fine fine actors.

Mcelhone, De Niro and Reno are the main players backed up by Bean and Pryce so the facial acting is all very earnest without the slightest scene chewing.

All in all it's a top tier action film and a great example of style and substance working perfectly to improve what is otherwise a fairly familiar "game of cat and mouse" plot.

It works though, especially if you like car chases.
