I know you’re saying that facetiously, but they honestly don’t always help.

I know plenty of people who had to stop going to shows because they couldn’t stand being around modern fans.

It doesn’t help that they have the reputation with advertisers as being undesirable, and they will get booted for almost anything else. Yes, AEW is getting killed in its time slot because it sucks. But that is slot they reserved for themselves.

People don’t want to look out into crowds and see a bunch of people they don’t want to be. That’s why I’ve been critical of the idea that crowds coming back is going to fix all of AEW’s problems. We all know it goes deeper than that.
