The problem is that some people can’t handle being challenged. Everyone says they can and that they do. But when they actually have the reasoning behind their thinking questioned, they get defensive and insecure. How many posts in a row are just people going “Noid’s just an asshole. He won’t let people enjoy things”?
How about explaining *why* you enjoy them? Or why you think they are good? And how many times do I have to explicitly state, point blank: People enjoying AEW is not the issue. People being unable to make arguments as to why they think it is good is. Don’t piss on my leg and tell me it’s raining.
Nope. Much easier to say that Noid just doesn’t like the rain. Nah, I don’t like bathing in urine. But there are literally about three people left on TPWW who are smart enough to understand that. And yeah, that might sound insulting, but it’s not like it’s not fucking true, lol.
And again: Where is all this “just let people enjoy it” defense of the WWE? Why does it make any sense to get all indignant at people saying “AEW sucks” if the narrative in the same place is going to be “WWE sucks?” I’m not saying WWE doesn’t suck. But where is the consideration there? It doesn’t exist. Because it’s only convenient for the cult to use it when it suits them.
