The Bank Job. 7/10, pretty bloody good movie. I am rarely dissapointed by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais. |

Crank 5/10. Good story, but could have used some more fight scenes. Funny at times. Last minute was cool. |

Leatherhead: 5/10 It wasn't a bad movie, just boring and I didn't even make it to the end because it was just so meh. For a comedy, it was never really funny. Not that it was unfunny. |

Saw V - 2.5/10 Its a Saw movie. Not the best in the series, but it was good, nice history lesson on the other Saw's, mostly Saw II. Don't see it unless you've seen II III and IV cause you wont know WTF is going on. |

House - 2/5 House is a new horror film written by Frank Peretti and some other guy. I usually really enjoy their work, but this movie was a bit off the wall. Some parts were kind of scary, but by the end a lot felt like it was missing. |

My Winnipeg 9/10 - Surreal docu-drama by avant garde filmmaker Guy Maddin. I suppose it's about himself trying to escape his city and the only way he can do that is by filming his way out. So the film works as part autobiography and part history of the city.

Rocket Science: 6/10 I heard so many good things about this movie and I was pretty disappointed when the credits finally rolled. I liked the girl who played Ginny, but the protagonist and his constant stutter got more than a little bit annoying after the second act. I kind of felt like they were just packing in off-beat, weird characters with no purpose other than to include off-beat, weird characters. They didn't play that big of a role in the movie and the laughs they garnered from me were few and far between. I loved the cinematography and the music though, and this perverted geeky kid who lives across from the female antagonist made it watchable, but not re-watchable. |

Sex Drive 3/10. Thought it would be better. Maybe I was just in a pissy mood and didn't think anything was funny at the time. I would have probably given it a 5 if they didn't show the grandpa in the chair thing (if you see it youll know what I mean) |
