Probably would have behooved them to add in a few more lines in that scene to get you interested in this new character and not just "who in the purple hell is this supposed to be?"

She is indeed Clea and she comes from the Dark Dimension. She's one of Strange's biggest allies and someone I'd hope would eventually pop up in the MCU. Her appearance was suppose to cater to the same kind of people that were going apeshit in that second act so I don't blame them for handling it the way they did.
