I wonder why they never brought back anyone from SF1. Ryu/Ken and Sagat don't really count because they've been pretty much everywhere the entire time. Someone like Eagle, Joe or something.
I wouldn't say no to Eagle, even if he isn't exactly my style. It would just be cool to see him.

I thought Genki would be perfect simply as an alternate costume for Vega.

Also, this DLC business sounds a bit sketchy to me.

First off, it's not Capcoms style to release things separately. They always release stuff in packs, to squeeze more dollars out of people.

Second, the sheer amount of characters is a bit of a red flag. All told, the game will have 58 characters on 360 and 61 on PS3. That's more than even MvC2. Pretty common knowledge that the more characters there are, the tougher it is to keep everything balanced. With that many characters AND the gem system thrown in, it seems like a herculean effort to keep it all balanced.

Finally, we get a report that says Blanka definitely won't be in, and then several days later he is stated to be in the Vita version and likely DLC for consoles? Sounds fishy to me.
