Nice quick ranked battles this morning. Got Sakura to a C rating after a few wins. Noticed Hasney has a C+. It'll be nice if he joined up in some Endless Battles. I'll be playing with a few purposes over the coming weekend so just know any matches with me aren't 'money', I'm testing out theories and working on 'out of character' approaches. I wanna polish myself before I take a break to catch up on Battlefield and enjoy RDR.

I'm at a point where my previous uncertainty about the tourny's outcome is lifting, and I'm feeling far more confident than a few weeks ago. Sakura is seriously vying for Cammy's main position. BTW I'm starting to punish recovery with combos more often so WATCH YOURSELF.

Also my new controller set up: Face buttons are still SNK style, but R-Trig is now KKK while L-Trig is PPP. After much thought, I concluded that the advantages of an assessable Focus Attack is overshadowed by the blunders caused by manual KKK. I've lost matches over the failed EX or Ultras due to trying to get KKK pressed. While FA saved my ass a few times, I'd say my new approaches that are contingent on KKK EX/Ultras more than supplement the diminished role of my FA set-ups. I already used this set up in matches and while I did catch myself pulling L-Trig for cancels and charges, I was adjusting well enough.

As I told Khuntry, the thumb stick is my permanent device for movement and motions. Fuck the dpad.

I didn't know you could see that about your friends, I'll have to have a look.

It's more addiction than skill though, got about a 50% win ratio (60% with Ibuki specifically I think). If you guys are playing Sat/Sun late-ish my time, I might jump on drunkenly (3-day weekend woo).

Defo, before I got my stick, the thumb stick was better than the 360 joypad for sure.
