Yeah it's kinda dumb to kill off the SmackDown tag belts so early in their existence but SmackDown was only really focusing on 2 teams anyway.

Gives each show a unique division and avoids the cruiserweights needing to travel to both shows. Also guys like Aries, Neville, etc. can be mixed in with the regular roster when they aren't on 205 Live.

Listen, I'd love SmackDown to have a proper tag division. But they don't. They only have enough screen time for one feud at a time and even at that it doesn't always get featured.

They do these multi-man tag team turmoil matches on their PPVs to look like they have a deep division, but it's beyond obvious most of their teams are enhancement level to make way for the two "good" teams they decide are important that month.

Send 'em to Raw and give their weekly SmackDown segment to the cruisers.
