Yeah it would be unnecessary. I’m just spitballing that if they felt they absolutely HAD to have another singles title, it would be the lesser evil compared to the ones we have now.

As hit-or-miss as the KOPW title idea has been so far, I look at it more as just something NJPW decided to do as an emergency idea to freshen things up and something out of the box because of the current situation they are in.

Okada having to feud with Yujiro and them going hyper drive on EVIL's big push were clear signs whatever big plans they had for the year went out the window due to the coronavirus.
